Ticketing FAQ

Box Office Hours

Monday-Thursday: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
Friday: 9:30am to 3:00 pm

The Box Office is closed on weekends.

The StoryBook Box Office cannot process any ticket orders, exchanges or flex pass orders after 3 pm on Fridays.

For tickets to individual shows at the Kirkland Performance Center show, you need to purchase tickets at www.kpcenter.org or call the KPC Box Office at 425-893-9900. Kirkland tickets are also available in person at the KPC  Box Office Tuesday-Saturday, 12 pm to 6 pm. Subscriptions for Kirkland shows are available through the online subscription form, or by calling us at the StoryBook Theater Box Office.

For Everett, Seattle , ShorelineRenton performances, tickets are available online or by phone from the StoryBook Theater Box Office until Fridays at 3:00 p.m. After that, you may purchase tickets at the performance location, 30 minutes before the show of your choice.

Seating & Ticket Prices

All shows are general admission and seating is selected on a first come, first served basis, beginning 30 minutes prior to showtime. StoryBook Theater tickets are $15 (including service fee) for all ages. Visit Tickets to purchase season tickets for all venues, and single tickets for all venues except Kirkland. Single tickets at Kirkland Performance Center must be purchased directly from their website at kpcenter.org.

Group Rates

Groups of 10 or more are not charged a service fee. Groups of 20 or more receive an additional $1 off each ticket. Group rates are only available by calling our box office; group rates are not available online or for door sales. Group rates at Kirkland Performance Center are based on their policies and must be arranged directly with the KPC.

Age Requirements

StoryBook Theater shows are recommended for ages 3 and above. If you are seeing a StoryBook show in Kirkland, the city of Kirkland requires a ticket to be purchased for any child 12 months or older.

If you are seeing a StoryBook show in Renton, Seattle, Everett or Shoreline, a ticket only needs to be purchased for children 24 months or older.

Refund & Exchange Policy

All ticket and subscription sales are final; no refunds. Exchanges may be made depending on availability, and must be requested through StoryBook Theater’s Box Office prior to 2 pm on Fridays for the current weekend. If you have missed your performance, exchanges can be made depending on availability, and must be requested by 5:30pm the following Tuesday after your performance.

The Kirkland Performance Center can process ticket exchanges for performances at their venue on the day of a performance at the theater.

Flex Pass Redemptions

A flex pass is only valid for tickets in the StoryBook season it was purchased for; holiday shows are not included. Unused flex passes cannot be carried over to the following season. A flex pass must be redeemed for tickets in advance (via phone or e-mail), prior to 3 pm on the Friday before the weekend you wish to see the show. The StoryBook Box Office cannot process any flex pass orders after 3 pm on Fridays. Flex passes cannot be redeemed on the day of the show at any venue including the Kirkland Performance Center Box Office. 

ADA Access

All of our StoryBook Theater venues are ADA accessible. Please let us know at the time of purchase if you will need wheelchair seating. Select weekend performances are ASL signed for hearing impaired patrons; contact the Box Office for information on this year’s ASL dates.
