StoryBook Theater (SBT) will be holding open auditions for their Spring production of Winnie the Pooh. Auditions were originally scheduled for January 4, 7-9pm, but due to an abundance of caution, they are being combined with Callbacks instead on Sunday, January 9, 1-5pm. 

About StoryBook and Winnie the Pooh

SBT is a professional company of adult actors who for the past 23 years have performed 50-minute musicals for youth, ages 2-8, and their families. SBT performs at many different venues in the greater Seattle area, including Kirkland Performance Center, Carco Theatre, PUD in Everett, and in Auburn. Having access to a car is encouraged. All actors are required to have proof of full vaccination and pass a background check.

Winnie the Pooh rehearses March 1 – 18 and runs March 19 through the middle of May. All rehearsals and performances are during the day, with performances for the public on weekends and school shows during the week. All rehearsals and performances are paid.

All roles for Winnie the Pooh are any gender and any ethnicity. Roles include Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Christopher Robin/Owl, and Rabbit.

Audition Details

This is a non-equity, in person audition at Studio East. 348 Kirkland Ave. Kirkland, WA 98033.

Bring a headshot and resume and prepare an upbeat song and comedic or light monologue not to exceed 2 minutes in length. 

Callbacks will be held on Sunday, January 9th from 1pm-5pm
