Join us for a Sensory-Friendly performance of 3 Pigs!

Studio East
Saturday, February 18 at 3:30pm

About the Show: When the wolf is on the hunt for some mouthwatering pork, the shakin’ bacon starts makin’ a sturdy, tooth-proof home for protection. This zany rendition of a favorite tale will have audiences, small and tall, rooting for the little piggies as they scramble to save their skins.

About our Sensory-Friendly shows

Our sensory-friendly performances are specifically designed for individuals with autism, neurodiversity, Asperger syndrome, Down syndrome and other sensory processing disorders and special needs.

Have you passed up family theater because your child has different sensory needs? No more! StoryBook Theater, in partnership with Safeco Insurance Fund, is working to make theater accessible for children with developmental challenges and special needs.

In our sensory-friendly performances, we leave the house lights up a few levels higher than for a standard production, reduce the sound level, as well as offer a comfortable, judgment-free theater experience. Friendly, supportive staff and community volunteers minimize stress and offer whatever help is needed to facilitate your theater experience.

What to expect at the shows

A social story is a pictorial guide with simple language explaining what a child can expect when they come to the theater.
